At the all-new Murfreesboro Eye Center, we believe our state-of-the-art technology enables us to provide you with the best and most efficient eye exam in Rutherford County.

Our goal is to provide precise eye examination results and much quicker appointments because at Murfreesboro Eye center we believe both your vision and time are incredibly valuable.

Optos Ultra-widefield Wide-Field Retinal Imaging enables our doctors to discover, diagnose, document and treat ocular pathology which may go undetected using traditional examination techniques and equipment. Our UWF, high-resolution retinal imaging devices each image more than 80% or 200˚ of the retina in a single capture. This testing method provides a far better option to traditional dilation since it decreases exam time by up to 30-minutes and doesn’t result in blurry, light sensitive vision for hours after your visit. An additional benefit is the test results provide us with digital image record of your retina that will be saved to your patient file for future reference and diagnosis.

WAM 700 Aberrometer measures the front surface of the eye and takes a "topography" or map of the terrain of the front surface of your eye allowing us to detect and correct for any aberrations which may be discovered. Aberrations are imperfections to the front surface of the eye that create blurred vision. Traditional testing methods do not account for these aberrations, whereas this technology does.

Additionally, this device allows for more accurate contact lens fittings by mapping the front surface of the eye. This is excellent news for patients who have felt as though their contacts never fit quite right or their vision with contact lenses was not quite as good as expected.

Vision-R 700 Refraction System offers a more accurate version of the old school "Which is better? Choice 1 or 2?" test. The device features a digital liquid lens instead of a standard glass lens. Liquid lens makes continuous micro-adjustments along with the eye's natural focusing system, allowing for more accurate responses and less fatigue to patients during the procedure. This is far easier test for people who have struggled with the "Choice 1 or 2 test" and results in a far more accurate prescription.

iVue80 OCT checks for diseases in the back of the eye on a microscopic level. This equipment allows our doctors to assess all 9 layers of the retina individually to assess even the earliest onset of a problem, resulting in earlier detection and treatment of certain conditions.

This device also allows Murfreesboro Eye Center to provide our patients with complete disease management for many medically related eye conditions eliminating the need for you to travel to multiple different specialists.

At Murfreesboro Eye Clinic the focus is on you!
